We'll need volunteers again!
Join us back at 4400 Fox Street (the old Denver Post building) to once again help The Big Wonderful go zero-waste.
Click here to read more & sign up for a volunteer slot! The more volunteers we have, the more successful we are at keeping compostables & recyclables out of the landfill. At the May TBW, we only sent 525 lbs of trash to landfill, while we composted 425 lbs and recycled 1,107! It's incredible the impact we can make together!
We'll need volunteers again!
Scraps is joining forces with one of its very favorite nonprofits, Transit Alliance, and one of its first customers (and favorite restaurants!), There..., to bring you a gala like no other! Go There... is a fundraiser and black tie gala to help move Denver toward a more walkable, bike-able, transit-connected city. We'll honor Transit Alliance's hard work and advocacy to bring more bus and rail service, and better connections to the Denver region. And we'll celebrate Scraps' mission to create a more waste-free Denver and give more Denverites access to composting, and to do it all with pedal power! (And of course, this will be a zero-waste event, with plenty of transit options mapped out for guests!)
Your ticket supports both Transit Alliance and Scraps, and it also covers all of your food and drink for the evening. The folks from There... will serve up delicious appetizers, entrees, dessert & all the adult beverages you can enjoy, in a vibrant & festive atmosphere. We'll also have a silent auction, giveaways & other activities to keep your night moving, and you'll have the chance to learn more about the gala hosts & join them as they work toward a more sustainable, more interconnected, more equitable city.

We are SOOOOO excited to invite you to celebrate Scraps with us!
We've just launched our brand new service, and we want to celebrate! We'll be sharing the experience of Work & Class, our very first restaurant customer, and The Alliance Center, our first commercial partner, and we'll tell you all just how much we've kept out of the landfill already!
We're partnering with our favorite nonprofit organizations, BikeDenver and Denver Food Rescue, to celebrate our common loves: pedal power & a more sustainable, equitable city. Please consider "rounding up" for BikeDenver and Denver Food Rescue when you purchase your ticket, or join these fantastic organizations!
We'll have all sorts of goodies for you, including food courtesy of Work & Class, beer courtesy of Great Divide, a cocktail bar courtesy of There..., a whole host of silent auction items, and more! And all in the beautiful indoor/outdoor setting of Black Black Coffee, in the Taxi Community in the heart of RiNo!
Proceeds from the event will be shared among Scraps, Denver Food Rescue & BikeDenver.
Please join us to celebrate!
We'll be back at it again in July, turning waste to wonderful with the TBW crew at The Big Wonderful! July's event will be indoor/outdoor, at the fantastic Stanley Marketplace in Stapleton.

What's better than an all-day block party to celebrate our nation's history - the end of slavery in the south - and listen to great music? How about helping the festival to reduce its environmental footprint?
Scraps is proud to be partnering with the Juneteenth Music Festival as part of the "Green Zone" - helping to create a greener festival with less waste left behind.
We need your help to do it! Sign up here to volunteer with us, and be part of the excitement!
